Join us on the lawn!
It’s a rare thing in history to have a battle which was impacted by the clothing worn by its participants. The 1777 Battle of Bennington is just one example of such an event. Join Saratoga National Historical Partk’s Eric Schnitzer as he showcases reproductions of the types of clothes worn by soldiers on both sides of the conflict and demonstrates how the battle was impacted by the clothing worn.
Eric Schnitzer is the park ranger and military historian for Saratoga National Historical Park and has dedicated his life’s study to the organization, personnel, and material culture of the military forces associated with the northern Campaign of 1777.
August 26th, 7pm on the lawn of the historical society and museum located at 166 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York.
