Gilbert Wright, a lifelong member of the Hoosick Township Historical Society passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 92.
Gilbert served as the Town of Hoosick Historian, as a HTHS board member, colleague in education, and a wonderful friend. His knowledge of the history of our community is preserved in the many documents we hold in the museum.
Each newsletter in our 2019 series featured a poem by Gilbert. It was hard to choose just one to publish today. I hope this one brings a glimpse into his wonderful life.
